Float glass is a clear, standard glass option commonly used for general glazing where safety glass is not required. It provides a clean, transparent finish and can be supplied in a range of thicknesses to suit different domestic, commercial and specialist requirements.

Choosing the Right Float Glass
The right float glass thickness will depend on the size, location and purpose of the panel.
Thinner float glass may be suitable for smaller panels, display glass, cabinet glass or picture frames, while thicker options may be better suited to larger panels, tabletops, shelving or internal glass features.
